Restocking simply refers to buying an item from an official neopets shop, usually to resell it to another user afterwards for profit. For myself, restocking has been the quickest and most lucrative way of making money on neopets.com. Therefore I highly recommend it to anyone with a decent internet connection. Having enjoyed making my fortune at restocking, I have decided to share my knowledge and my techniques with anyone out there willing to listen. :)

While is it important to have a good connection speed, you do not need an amazing connection. There are also shops where you can get away with being slower, so do not shy away if you think your internet connection is too slow. The newest restocking system implemented by neopets is one that helps people with slower connections more than any previous systems. In this system, all shops will restock at a random time, and will restock independently of other shops. Therefore, it is much more crucial to catch the restock in time.

Before you start, you should note that younger accounts will have a handicap added to their restocking success. In an attempt to deter cheaters, the neopets team has implemented the following system, whereby accounts of a certain age can only see items up to a certain rarity:

• Newbie: Rarity 79 and below
• 10 days: Rarity 84 and below
• 16 days: Rarity 89 and below
• 1 month: Rarity 94 and below
• 3 months: all items
