affiliation

If you own a site and would like to affiliate with NeoFaerie.net, there are a few criteria I require you to meet before you apply:

1. Your site must be a related to neopets in some form (graphics, fansite, etc.)
2. Your site must be on a paid domain (ex: .com, .net, .org, etc.). I have this rule only because my own domain is paid. However, I will make exceptions for .co.nr sites if it is obviously exceptional. =)
3. Your site does not contain any offensive material whether it be language, graphics, etc.
4. Your site is updated regularly. Don't bother requesting if you are "On Haitus".
5. Your site must be relatively complete. Please have at least 30 pages of quality content.
6. You must not be breaking any copyright laws or Neopets terms and conditions.
7. Your site must be at least 3 months old.
8. You must have a link to neofaerie.net visible on every single page before you apply. If you link to NeoFaerie through a button, you must upload the image onto your own server. Don't bother applying if you are going to put my button in a scrolling list. Scrollers bug me.
9. If you have 30 or more affiliates, don't bother applying.
10. Include "Nannerz is training obsessed" in the "Description" box so I know you have read the rules. Originally I wasn't going to make this rule, but I have had some pretty bad applications.
11. In the "Description" box I would like a short description of your site and why you would be a good affiliate. Make sure you really describe your site here. I don't mind receiving long applications (I like them far better than short ones).
12. Please wait 2 weeks before re-applying if your application was rejected.

Note that I do not have a traffic minimum requirement, but I am fairly picky about quality, especially graphics-wise. I don't care how much traffic your site generates as long as it maintains a high standard of excellence (which eventually will net you tons of traffic ^^). I reserve the right to reject an application based on my personal impression of your site after I have browsed through it, or for any reason I have not listed. However, I am far from unreasonable and I always do take the time to respond and give you a thorough review of your site, unless you couldn't follow my rules (then I ignore your application). I will be limiting my affiliate count to at most 10 so my affiliates actually gain from being linked from here. You will only be linked through my standard text links on the sidebar; sorry if you want buttons. The order in which affiliates are listed are arbitrary and generally reflect the amount of hits I receive from each one.

To apply, please fill in the form below. You should receive a reply within 2-5 days depending on how busy I am.

While you are my affiliate, I expect you to maintain the same standards agreed upon when we became affiliates. I do regular checks and will notify you if something is off. If the problem is not fixed after I contact you, please remove my button as I will do the same for you. While we are affiliates, please ensure that you:

1. Stay in contact with me somewhat regularly. An affiliation is a show of support between two sites, not simply a link exchange.
2. Inform me if your site is going on hiatus or it is closing.
3. Maintain high quality. If I see repeated atrocious-looking stuff being posted on your site, you will hear from me.
4. Maintain an active site. Please update at least once per week.
5. Never put my button/link on a scroller. I will remove you immediately if I see this.
6. Follow all the rules listed for affiliate application.
7. If you are removed from my affiliates list, please wait 2 weeks before applying back.
